SINCE 1971
Satelliet Meubelen was founded in the Netherlands in 1971 by Jan van der Wouw and Luck Jansen, who started to trade café furniture from their homes in Breda.
Fast growth resulted in a new showroom and warehouse at the industrial area “Het Spinveld” in Breda in 1978. Success continued even more when Satelliet was the first company in Holland to import and offer modern terrace furniture form Spain on the Dutch market. First only Spanish furniture, but soon Satelliet started to develop own models. At the moment, many products are developed and produced under own control.
In 1986, the location at “Het Spinveld” was changed for the current location, former building of Saval Kronenberg, at the Haagweg. It included a production hall and warehouse of 3.000 m2.
In 2000, Satelliet opened her Satelliet Logistic Center in Rijen, in the building of the former stone factory Five Oaks. This 10.000 m2 warehouse makes it possible to carry large quantities of products on stock, which enables Satelliet to meet the fast delivery times required by her customers.
In the year 2009 Satelliet has besides the head office in Breda, other national showrooms as well. In addition, international co-operations have developed under the name of Satelliet. At this moment, Satelliet has 89 full-timers working in the Netherlands. The international partners included, Satelliet counts approximately 260 employees
